Women Win has trained 20 young Goal Coaches working with our partner in Zambia, The National Organisation for Women in Sport Physical Activity and Recreation (NOWSPAR) to pilot a new Goal module called Goal Events.

The training took place in Lusaka, July 8 – 11, 2014. Coaches learned new games called Goal Games, which use play and sport based approaches to introduce Goal life skills to adolescent girls. Goal Events is a combination of games and activities that engage girls and the community during a one, two or three day event. NOWPAR will be one of the first organisations to officially pilot Goal Events by the end of the year.
